Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all of the “banking” terms? ēCO’s Online Services are designed to help simplify your life, but with all of the options we offer, it can get confusing. Let’s walk you through what the service is, how it benefits you, and where you can access it.

Service What is the service? How does the service benefit you? Where do you access the service?
Virutal Branch Virtual Branch is ēCO’s fancy way of saying online banking. Online banking allows you to manage your money from any personal computer with Internet access. Because you can do a variety of transactions online, Virtual Branch serves as an additional “branch” of ēCO.

Virtual Branch brings ēCO right to your living room. It allows you to:

  • View account balances
  • Make transfers between ēCO accounts, including setting up automatic transfers
  • Check recent transactions
  • View e-Statements
  • Use Bill Pay

Visit ecocu.org! The Virtual Branch log-in is in the top left corner.

 

You must enroll in Virtual Branch to utilize it.
e-Statements e-Statements are an electronic version of your monthly or quarterly account statement. They look like paper statements BUT can be viewed online.

e-Statements allow you to conveniently access your monthly statement. They save paper and are stored in Virtual Branch for up to 24 months—saving the planet AND your filing cabinet.

Your ēCO Checking Account also becomes FREE when you enroll in e-Statements.

Log-in to ēCO Virtual Branch. Then, click “Self Service.” Under Additional Services, select “e-Statements.”

You must enroll in e-Statements.
Bill Pay Bill Pay is an automated payment service that you can set-up with ēCO. Bill Pay allows you to pay people and companies through Virtual Branch. You determine who you want to pay, when you want to make the payment, and which account to use for the payment. It’s safe, secure, and easy! Bill Pay can help you never miss a payment. It also helps keep your payment information safe and secure. Instead of providing your ēCO account information on multiple sites where you pay your bills, your account details are not shared with the payee (person or company you’re paying) when you initiate a payment.

Log-in to ēCO Virtual Branch. Then, click “Bill Pay.”

You must have an ēCO Checking Account to use Bill Pay. A fee of $4.95/month is charged for Bill Pay, if you do not enroll in e-Statements.
ēCO Mobile ēCO Mobile is a service that allows you to conduct financial transactions using a mobile device such as a smart phone. ēCO Mobile is available for iPhones and Androids.

ēCO Mobile allows you to access your ēCO account while on the go. It allows you to:

  • View account balances
  • Make transfers between ēCO accounts
  • Check recent transactions
  • Deposit checks

Download ēCO Mobile in the App Store or Google Play.

You must set up an ēCO Virtual Branch log-in to access ēCO Mobile. Your username and password will be the same as your ēCO Virtual Branch log-in.
Voice Response Voice Response is an interactive, automated system that allows you to access your account balance and make transfers by phone.

Account information is just a phone call away. Voice Response allows you to:

  • Confirm account balances
  • Check recent transactions
  • Make transfers

Call (205)250-6141. Enter your account number. Then, enter your PIN. Your default account PIN is the last 4 digits of your social security number.

Follow system prompts.
