ēCO Credit Union was originally founded as Jefferson County Teachers Credit Union. Although our name has changed, we are proud to maintain strong ties with Jefferson County Schools. From working with them to make setting up direct deposit at ēCO a breeze to providing thousands of number two pencils each year, we are committed to our friends in education.
As employees at the Jefferson County Board of Education prepared for school to resume, we were thankful for the opportunity to show our appreciation. On August 27, we treated Jefferson County Board of Education employees to Frio’s Gourmet Pops and fun giveaway items.
"I have personally seen the stress and pressure the Jefferson County Board personnel have been under," said Mia Robinson, Homewood Branch Manager. "I enjoyed seeing the smiles on their faces and the appreciation they felt for just a brief moment that came from a simple popsicle. Laughter is the best medicine, and if for nothing but one afternoon, we were able to let the school board personnel know that we see them and appreciate all they are doing to make our families safe."
Jefferson County Board of Education Employees, thank YOU for all you do for our community. You make a difference and an important investment in the future of our community! We are honored to be able to support you and show our appreciation.
