ēCO Credit Union’s biggest fundraiser of the year, Change for Children’s, is back! In 2025, ēCO Credit Union is proudly marking our 16th year supporting Children’s of Alabama, and together, we have raised more than $600,000 so far. This year, we are aiming to reach $40,000, and we need your help to make it happen! Let us join forces and make a difference for local kids and families.
From September 8 to October 17, we are inviting you to join the Change for Children’s campaign and support Children’s of Alabama—the only hospital in the state devoted exclusively to kids. In 2024 alone, Children’s of Alabama saw more than 680,000 patient visits, caring for children from every single county, no matter their family’s financial situation. Here is just a glimpse of what your support helps make possible:
- Busiest pediatric ER in the Southeast
- Alabama’s only Level IV NICU
- Treating 90%+ of children diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders in the state
- Over 900 critical care transports annually
- 500+ cardiac surgeries per year, including about 10 heart transplants
Every dollar you give goes directly toward providing life-changing medical care for thousands of children right here in our community.
