June #eCOmmunity - Ashley Stricklin

ēCO Credit Union has a strong commitment to the communities where our members live, work, and play. We are excited to continue the #eCOmmunity program in 2023. We are proud to recognize those who go above and beyond for their community through the #eCOmmunity initiative.

Members of the community who embody the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” are nominated by ēCO employees to be “Credit Unioned.”

Homewood Branch Manager, Dalana Sewell, nominated Mrs. Ashley Stricklin to be “Credit Unioned” for June. “I nominated Ashley because any time that we need assistance, no matter what it is, she is always willing to help. Ashley is always there to make sure that we stay informed about what is going on at the Jefferson County Board of Education,” said Dalana.

Ashley said, “ēCO Credit Union has always been nice to me, whoever is in there working, they have always been sweet, kind and welcoming. Whenever I walk into ēCO I feel like I am more than just a member. I appreciate ēCO and the way they treat their members here is huge because they get to know you on a personal level.”

“Ashley is always smiling and kind. She loves helping others. If there is anything that I need, I know that I can depend on her to provide the assistance or information. She puts her heart into everything that she does. We are very blessed to have her here at the Board,” said Dalana .

Ashley has been working with the Jefferson County Board of Education for 13 years and is the Executive Secretary for Operations. She is also a wife and a mother. Some of her hobbies include going to her son’s baseball games, going to the lake, and boating with her family. She is also involved with assisting and fundraising for the Helena Baseball Team.

“The most rewarding part of my job and serving within my community is being able to be a helping hand towards others. I like the customer service aspect of what I do on a daily basis. I enjoy building relationships with others and I love when people come to me and I can help them personally.” says Ashley.

ēCO Credit Union employees surprised Ashley with a gift basket and VISA gift card at the Homewood Branch.

Thank you, Ashley, for always being a helping hand, making others smile, and leaving a positive impact on others! We are so grateful for people like you that are always happy to help others and being the exact representation of what the credit union stands for, “People Helping People”.
